The suit alleges that the risk pool, which insures people who have been turned down by private health insurers, violates the Americans with Disabilities Act by denying coverage to people with AIDS. State lawmakers exempted people with AIDS when they created the pool. James C. Gray, attorney for the insurance pool, said the program is complying with the state law.
