    U. S. immigration officials warned almost 300 Haitian refugees on
 a hunger strike at a U. S. naval base in Cuba that their action
 wouldn't encourage the U. S. to admit them.  The refugees, most of
 whom are infected with the AIDS virus, say they want Clinton to keep
 a campaign pledge and allow them to immigrate despite their medical
 problems.
