    Health Professionals continued to slide, losing 1 3/4 to 4.  The
 Fort Lauderdale, Fla., concern cited a newsletter report that said
 the company altered data from its human trials of an AIDS drug.
 Health Professionals said it is suing the newsletter alleging libel.
 The publication, Medical Business, said it stands by its story.  A
 Food and Drug Administration official said the agency plans an
 investigation.  Health Professionals stock began the month at 12 1/8.
