The decision to replace Immunex was based on a majority of the stock now being held by Lederle Oncology Corp., a unit of American Cyanamid Co., as a result of a recent merger between Immunex and Lederle, the exchange said. Immune Response, Carlsbad, Calif., makes products for use in the treatment of HIV infection. Immunex is a Seattle immunological research and development company.
