J. The company wouldn't disclose the value of the contract, but analysts placed it between $10 million and $20 million. Jacobs also would provide process engineering for the manufacture of Liposome's TLC G-65 drug, which is being developed to treat Mycobacterium avium-intracellulare in AIDS patients. The new drug is a potential major product for Liposome, according to Linda L. Miller, an analyst for PaineWebber Group. Jacobs is an engineering, design, waste-management and construction company. Liposome develops products used to enhance pharmaceuticals.
