    Univax Biologics grew 1 1/4 to 8 3/4.  Preliminary results of the
 the Rockville, Md., biotechnology company's SIV/B-GAL vaccine
 presented at the Eighth International Conference on AIDS suggest the
 vaccine protects monkeys from a Simian virus related to the human
 immunodeficiency virus.  Univax said it is producing a HIV version of
 the vaccine in preparation for human clinical trials.
