    Researchers reported a new finding concerning the origins
 of the AIDS virus, first identified at the Pasteur Institute
 in France, and later by Robert Gallo at the National
 Institutes of Health.  The study appears to give a
 circumstantial boost to the credibility of Gallo's work.
