    NEW YORK -- Rattled by uncertainty about the market's
 near-term course, investors pushed over-the-counter stock
 prices down by more than 1%.

    Immune Response gained 1 3/4 to 23 1/4.  It said it
 completed enrollment and now has 100 individuals involved in
 a clinical trial using its HIV therapeutic vaccine.  The trial
 is expected to be completed next September.
