    The AMA joined public health officials in assuring
 patients that they run an insignificant risk of AIDS
 infection from contact with a doctor, nurse, dentist or other
 health worker.  At a Washington news conference that included
 ex-Surgeon General C. Everett Koop, doctors and health
 officials argued against mandatory testing of physicians.
