    NEW YORK -- Technology stocks led over-the-counter shares
 higher as investors searched for bargains in the group,
 battered during the latest quarter by fund managers who
 cleared portfolios of companies with uncertain earnings
 outlooks.

    TSI added 1/2 to 5 5/8.  The Worcester, Mass., company said
 that it received a five-year, $3.2 million contract from the
 National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease to
 conduct pre-clinical studies on experimental vaccines that
 could lead to a possible AIDS vaccine.
