    Care Group Acquisition

    LAKE SUCCESS, N. Y. -- Care Group Inc., expanding its
 home-care service for people with AIDS, acquired Care Line
 Inc. of Dallas for $3.1 million in cash and stock.
    The acquisition of Care Line, which supplies prescription
 drugs and nutritional assistance to patients with acquired
 immune deficiency syndrome, follows Care Group's purchase
 last month of Childrens Nursing Services/Medstaff, which
 provides home health care to children.
    Care Line, a closely held company, posted revenue of $2.3
 million in 1990.
