Business Brief -- Care Group Inc.: Concern to Expand Services With Purchase of Care Line Care Group Inc., in a move to expand its range of home health care services, signed a letter of intent to acquire Care Line Inc. of Dallas. Terms weren't disclosed. Care Group, which provides home health care to AIDS patients, said the acquisition would allow the company to add infusion therapy to its list of services. Care Line, which provides home infusion of food and drugs to patients, had revenue of about $4 million in 1990. Home health care is one of the fastest growing segments of the health care industry. Care Group, based in Lake Success, N. Y., reported revenues of about $12 million in 1990. Gilda Schechter, a company executive vice president, said Care Group's 1991 revenues may increase to between $14 million and $17 million. In national over-the-counter trading yesterday, Care Group shares closed up 25 cents at $7.
