    AIDS continues to spread faster among women than among
 men, the Centers for Disease Control said.  The agency
 reported that diagnosed cases of AIDS rose this year by 29%
 among women, compared with 18% among men.  One out of every
 eight people diagnosed next year will be female, researchers
 predicted.
