    An experimental AIDS vaccine received federal approval for
 human clinical trials.  The synthetic vaccine, developed by
 the National Institutes of Health and the U. S. affiliate of
 an Austrian company, is the sixth to get U. S. approval for
 human testing.  In previous animal studies, the vaccine
 protected one chimpanzee from infection.
