    MicroGeneSys Inc., West Haven, Conn., recently concluded a
 major partnership agreement with big American Home Products
 Corp., New York, to co-develop and co-market an AIDS vaccine
 that the smaller company is trying to develop.  American Home
 Products has acquired a minority stake in MicroGeneSys, which
 had ended an attempt to go public.
