Eastman Kodak Co. said it will file within the next few weeks an application with the Food and Drug Administration to begin clinical studies for a new test that can simultaneously detect acquired immune deficiency syndrome, or AIDS, and leukemia/lymphoma. Following FDA approval, Kodak said it will market the test as part of its business relationship with Cetus Corp., an Emeryville, Calif., biotechnology concern. The test will be manufactured by Cellular Products Inc., Buffalo, its developer. Rochester, N. Y. -based Kodak is a photographic, chemicals and imaging products concern.
